3.5.3 Reactive Resonant Shielding

Reactive resonant shielding can be considered a particular feature of the active shield. Additional reactive components are incorporated into the WPT system but their excitation comes from the magnetic field naturally generated by the primary coil. The fifth generation of the OLEV project has developed three different implementations of reactive resonant shielding [9]. Specifically, extra capacitors and switch arrays to control the resonant frequency are the basis for this type of shielding in the OLEV project.
